It was a relatively light agenda for Lyon County commissioners on Thursday as the 2007 budget was amended following a public hearing.
Lyon County commissioners met for a study session Thursday morning to amend the 2007 budget. Commissioners said the changes won’t affect Lyon County tax dollars, but will produce about $1.2 million in savings. The savings come from an early payoff of Lyon County Courthouse bonds.
In other matters:
- Commissioners authorized payment of $2,000 to Calvin Lee Gunkle for 1.68 acres of permanent easement for a bank stabilization project on Road 145 west of Neosho Rapids.
