Emporia State ran out of gas and also players Thursday night, falling 127-124 to Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Six of ESU's top seven scorers fouled out: Caleb Tegtmeier, Marvin Lee, Andrew Davison, Jordan Fithian, Matt Boswell and Wes Book.

The Hornets were tied at 124 with 40 seconds left in the fourth OT, but MSU hit three consecutive free throws to end the marathon game.
