These meals will be served next week in the Emporia schools:
Breakfast
Monday: cereal and muffin or PopTarts.
Tuesday: hsausage and cheese biscuit or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: drizzled scone or texas toast and jelly.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: pancake stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Lunch
Monday: cheeseburgewr on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: taco pizza, tossed salad, strawberries, cake or vanilla wafers.
Wednesday: crispito, nacho chips, cheese sause, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: turkey fritter, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner roll, corn, peach half.
Friday: popcorn shrimp, macaroni and cheese, greenbeans, fresh orange smiles, yogurt.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk; lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, black bean salad, bread, pears.
Tuesday: chili, coleslaw, crackers, cinnamon roll.
Wednesday: chicken-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, wheat roll, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: fish, macaroni and tomatoes, broccoli salad, wheat roll, applesauce.
Friday: sliced turkey, dressing, green beans, wheat roll, pie.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.

Tuesday: parmesan chicken, macaroni salad, greed beans, peach crisp.
Wednesday: Christmas dinner — baked ham with pineapple, au gratin potatoes, peas with pearl onions, hot rolls, cherry cheesecake.
Thursday: smothered steak, baked potato, carrots, wheat bread, strawberries and bananas.
Friday: barbecue beef on a bun, potato salad, vegetables, fruited pudding.
