Unexpected delight

IT SEEMS that, so often, the youngsters of our community go do something that makes us question whether they belong to our community, or if they are even of the same species as we. And then they come along and do something to do the community proud like collect 4,000 cans of food for those less fortunate.
It makes me think that maybe we have a future yet for Lyon County, at least we will if we can get the adults to take their lead. I for one will be more inclined to drop a little extra into the kettle this year.
Merry Christmas to everyone.

I am incredibly proud of these young people who took the time out of their busy lives to go out and collect food for those less fortunate. It is a blessing that there are still some good Samaritans out there, willing to think of things other than themselves.
