Christmas musical

The senior and junior choirs of the Lebo United Methodist Church will present the musical, “Christmas on Gloria Street,” at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Sara Evans and Jean Rowley will direct the program. Refreshments will be served by the United Methodist Women after the program. Everyone is invited to attend.

Prayer walk

“Seeing Christmas Through Song,” the Messiah Lutheran Church Annual Advent Prayer Walk, will take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 22 and 23 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24 at the church, 1101 Neosho St. According to the news release, “this prayer experience will guide you to revisit the advent of our King, Jesus Christ. Each room, which is based around Christmas carols, is complete with a Scripture reading, a Christmas carol, contemplative reflections, an interactive response and prayer. It is appropriate for all ages, children through adults. Close out the noise and join in a journey designed to help you celebrate Christmas.”
