Program rescheduled
The Hamilton pre-K through 12th grade Christmas program, “Precious Gifts,” will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Hamilton school gymnasium. The taco dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. These events were not held Wednesday because of inclement weather.
Card showers
Howard and LaVerna Lilly celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 12. Their family requests a card shower for them, with cards to be sent to 4398 E. 325th St., Melvern, KS 66510. The anniversary information will be published Dec. 24.
The family requests a card shower for Ernest and Evalee Williams, who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22. Cards may be sent to them at 939 Road 140, Emporia, KS 66801. The anniversary information will be published Dec. 17.
Ribbon cutting
Feathers Prosthetic Services will have a ribbon cutting to celebrate its relocation to 627 Graham St. The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau will be host for the ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mark Feathers owns the business.
