Terry Lambert, chief executive officer of Newman Regional Health, was inducted as the 2008 chair of the Kansas Hospital Association board of directors. This announcement was made last month during the association’s annual convention in Wichita.
Lambert has been active with the association for 12 years. He previously served on numerous committees including the organization’s executive committee and as treasurer and chair-elect. As board chair, Lambert will guide the 21-member governing board that oversees the organization’s strategic activities.
The Kansas Hospital Association is a not-for-profit association of health care provider organizations and individuals that are committed to the health improvement of their communities. KHA membership includes 178 member facilities, of which 125 are full-service community hospitals. Founded in 1910, KHA maintains its vision of “an organization of hospitals working together to improve access, quality and the affordability of health care for all Kansans.”
