Friday Thoughts is a light-hearted commentary.
If you notice my father-in-law, Dr. Steve Knecht, behaving a bit differently it may be because he was diagnosed with having a screw loose.
For people who know Steve, this diagnosis may help explain some things.
Even though my father-in-law has been a doctor in this community for 30 years, one thing I have learned about him is that he avoids going to doctors at all costs. I have also learned that he likes to fix things himself.
I wonder how much time Steve spent in his workshop trying to tighten the loose screw in his shoulder himself before he decided to have a surgeon fix it?
