The Lebo girls made it a clean sweep of their own Lebo Tournament with a 42-35 victory over Mission Valley on Saturday.

Eight players scored for the Lady Wolves, led by a 15-point outing from Morgan Laflin. Laflin was big when Lebo (3-0) needed it most, scoring nine points in the final 8 minutes of the game to help Lebo put some distance between itself and Mission Valley after the Lady Wolves led by just one point at the end of the third quarter.

Lebo actually trailed at halftime, 21-18, after Mission Valley’s Vanessa Finlay scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the first half.

But 3-pointers from Kate Marks and Shelby Robke helped Lebo fight back to take a 28-27 lead going into the fourth quarter, and then Laflin took over from there.

Up next for Lebo is a road game at Marais des Cygnes Valley on Tuesday.
