The Emporia High girls basketball team capped the second round of the Paul Terry Classic with a 63-43 victory over Olathe East on Saturday at White Auditorium.
Four Lady Spartans finished in double figures, with Sadie Webb leading the way with a game-high 19 points. Webb finished 3-of-6 from the field and made 13 of 14 free throws.
Nichole Naab and Lexi Hileman each finished with 13 points, while Rachelle VanGundy added 11. Hileman also led the way in rebounds with 9.
Emporia High trailed at the half, 25-24, but fired out of the locker room with a 20-9 run in the third quarter that made it 44-34 EHS at the end of the third quarter.
Two technical fouls on the Olathe East bench marred play in the fourth quarter. EHS made 25 of 32 foul shots to East's 11-of-12.
The Lady Spartans finished the tournament with a 2-0 record.
