Scholarship winners announced

Flint Hills Technical College is pleased to announce the 2007-08 scholarship recipients.

Scholarships totaling $58,500 have been awarded to students who have met the qualifications of academic achievement, leadership and desire to succeed in their chosen programs of study.

Scholarship sponsors and the FHTC Foundation Board of Directors annually provide funds that assist students with tuition, textbooks and program-related fees and supplies.

“It is through the generosity of many individuals, businesses and organizations that we have been able to expand our scholarship program in recent years,” said Jodi Heermann, executive director of advancement at Flint Hills Technical College. “We are very appreciative of these relationships. Scholarships help our students focus on academic success with fewer financial worries.”

FHTC Foundation scholarships were awarded to the following students:
