Madison school board
The U.S.D. 386 board of education meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in Madison for a budget hearing in the Board of Education office.
At 7:30 p.m., the board’s agenda includes examination and approval of current accounts payable and treasurer’s report, a public forum, Blue Cross-Blue Shield insurance, a seat belt resolution, board policies to address bullying, public information programs and fiscal management of federal grants; a site council report and administrative reports; negotiations and personnel.
Southern Lyon school board
The Southern Lyon County board of education meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the board of education central office in Hartford, 100 Commercial St. in Suite A.
The agenda includes a budget hearing at 8 p.m., approval of minutes, bills due and payable, payrolls for July 20, 2007 and Aug. 3, 2007, comments from the public, principals report, early graduation policy, an executive session to discuss personnel, an open session to discuss personnel, student transfers and out of district requests, emergency substitutes, contracts for signatures, committee appointments, facilities, school safety and a report by the superintendent.
