association
Donna Taylor of Saffordville was the winner of the Allis Chalmers scale model die cast pedal tractor which was given away during the Lyon County Fair by the Flint Hills Antique Power Association.
Americus Days
committee
The committee will meet at 1 p.m., in the Casa Ramos Cafe for a luncheon meeting. A discussion of raffle items and T-shirts will be on the agenda. For information, call (620) 443-5050.
Chamber of commerce
The Americus Chamber of Commerce will donate $100 to the Swimming Pool Fund and $100 to the Americus Days celebration.
Book meeeting
The committee will meet Monday, August 13, 6:30 p.m. in the Presbyterian Annex on Broadway. The meeting is open to the public. Names of veterans and service dates are needed for the book.
