Here's a link to the Nat'l Center for Missing & Exploited Children

No alert has been put out for him as of yet.......what's the hold up?

I hope they find him soon. I am surprised they don't have a picture of him yet. I thought maybe the Topeka stations might have something on their websites. I talked with my mom just a bit ago, she said that they are really combing the area for him. Hopefully he is safe, just hiding out somewhere.

Amber alert is only when the child has been abducted and is in imminent danger. We dont really know what is going on here. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Hopefully they find him safe and sound.

emporian, I was thinking there was some sort of stipulation on Amber Alerts...
However, if my 13 y.o. was unaccounted for, I would most-definitely consider him to be in imminent danger.

I hope he shows up and is in good health, but MEL the article says was "last seen" in a t shirt and pajama pants, this does not mean that it was a fact that he was wearing these things. some kids now days wait until mom and dad are in bed then sneek out to go to a friends. I hope this is the case and no harm has come to him

I should have said Pajama pants and no shirt, NOT t shirt

I never had the nerve to sneak out--no way was I gonna chance my father catching me. Not that the thought never popped in my head, though. :)
I just went and hung out at the neighbors. They were fun.
I hope we get an update soon.
