Burlington’s Tyrel Reed didn’t disappoint in Wednesday’s KBCA All-Star Game in Topeka, scoring 17 points for the South squad in its 96-93 loss to the North.
Reed, who will attend at the University of Kansas, contributed a pair of 3-pointers.
Madison’s Jordan Stout added 10 points for the North, and fellow Emporia State men’s basketball signee Matt Boswell chipped in three for the South.
In the women’s game, ESU signee Brittney Miller had 11 points for the North in a losing effort as the South won, 83-78.
Olpe’s Kayla Krueger — who will attend ESU as a walk-on this season — posted five points for the South.
