Give them a break

AS THE warmer weather approaches, there will be more vehicles cruising the city streets with a “student driver” sign attached.
This in-car instruction is very important for the beginning driver. Many of these drivers are inexperienced and have had very little practice driving a vehicle. Often the student is nervous, apprehensive and will make some mistakes, such as:driving too slow for the conditions, signaling the opposite direction they intend to turn and so forth.
Eventually, these beginners will develop into experienced, confident drivers. Unfortunately, there are other drivers who will harass the students by following too closely, honking at the students, cutting them off and showing their anger with a negative hand signal. This form of overt frustration does not enhance the learning process for these inexperienced drivers.
If you are one of these drivers, your empathy and understanding would be greatly appreciated.

Do they also teach proper etiquette about cell phones and the inexperienced driver? This is the number one "cool" thing to be seen doing. Who cares about the othe driver on the road?
