Book-sale fund raiser
The Learning Center Preschool PTO and teachers, Carol Percy and Dona Jones, will be hosts for an Usborne “Reading is a Gift” book fair from 8:20 to 9 a.m. and 11 to 11:45 a.m. on Friday at the First Christian Church, 202 E. 12th Ave. The Friday sale was omitted from an earlier announcement.
Democratic breakfast
The Lyon County Democrats meet for breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Best Western Motel meeting room, 3021 W. Highway 50.
