Notice from city hall
City hall has issued a notice concerning questions about utilities. The city can answer questions about sewer and trash services. Questions about water, natural gas, cable television, telephone or electric services should be addressed to the company involved.
Township library
The library will sponsor a book sale this month. Many adult and children’s books will be offered.
Biscuits and gravy
The Americus Masonic Lodge 109, 551 Broadway St., will sponsor a biscuit and gravy breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The cost for one biscuit is $2; two biscuits, $3; coffee or juice, 50 cents. The money raised will be used for lodge projects.

Some would suggest City Hall begin look into price gouging by the new owner of the gas service.Looks like there will be more propane and wood delivered to Americus next fall.
