Chris Cakes for seniors
A pancake feed fundraiser for the Emporia Senior Center will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holiday Resort, 2700 W. 30th Ave. The Chris Cakes group will be making and serving the pancakes.
For Chelsis Andrews
A benefit spaghetti supper for Chelsis Andrews, 27-year-old mother from Hartford who suffered a stroke in January, will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. April 14 at the Hartford Community Building. After the dinner there will be Bingo at 7 p.m. and live music. All proceeds will go to the Craig and Chelsis Andrews family to pay expenses.

Penny supper
The Hartford United Methodist Women will serve the Penny Supper once again, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hartford United Methodist Church in Hartford. Foods include ham loaf, $1.75; chicken pie, $1.50; pork cutlets, $2; a variety of salads and vegetables, 50 cents; homemade rolls, 25 cents; noodles, 50 cents; pie, $1.25; and ice cream, 75 cents.
