MADISON
The Greenwood County Commission has approved several resolutions involving county roads.
Portions of roads 210, 230, U, V and 270 will be closed; the commission decided not to close portions of roads 250 and 310 will not be closed.
The Madison Chamber of Commerce has begun working on plans for October Fest, on Oct. 28.
Events will include a Halloween parade, a pumpkin-carving contest, arts and crafts booths and a sloppy joe feed. After the parade is the Merchant Trick or Treat.
