COUNCIL GROVE
The city lake was up for discussion again for the city council members. The city has already discussed selling or annexing the lake. The most recent plan would require neither option. Instead the plan calls for a long-term 30-year revolving lease with a self-governed lake association. The lease would be split between the city and the lake. The council voted to have the lake commission continue the study of the plan. They will report back to the council with a final plan later.
