It’s fall and the smell of apples fill the air. This weekend’s offerings includes an apple festival to benefit a local agency.
Hetlinger Developmental Services, 707 South Commercial St., is hosting its first Apple Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hetlinger.
The apple fest offers music, children's games (moon walk, face painting), food and crafts, 2006 apple fest T-shirts, cookbooks, free popcorn and booths featuring various organizations and clubs in town.
