Marais des Cygnes Valley drops pair of matches

The Marais des Cygnes Valley volleyball team dropped two matches at the Waverly Invitational on Tuesday.
In the first match against Waverly, Marias des Cygnes Valley could not muster much offense, as the Bulldogs beat the Trojans, 25-4, 25-18. Rachel Clark led Marais des Cygnes Valley with five kills. Cheyenne Russell added three kills and four blocks.
Lebo also turned away Marais des Cygnes in consecutive games, 25-18, 25-20, though the match was much closer.
Clark against tallied five kills, while Jessica Schmidt had four kills and three digs and Jaimie Rice added three kills and four digs.
Hartford comes up
winless at Chase County
The Hartford volleyball team lost two matches at the Chase County Invitational on Tuesday.
In the first match against Flinthills, which Flinthills win 2-0 (25-18, 25-7), Amy Bolen led Hartford with three kills.
Against Chase County, Bolen had 10 kills to lead Hartford again, but the Lady Jaguars could not put Chase County away, as Chase County won 2-1 (27-25, 11-25, 25-23).
