Emporia’s SOS Inc. will receive $700,000 from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women.
Rep. Jerry Moran (R-Kan) announced the grant Friday. SOS is a nonprofit domestic violence victim services organization.
With the funding, SOS can develop new programs and enhance existing victim-intervention services.
