‘Can the Bods’
Emporia State University and Washburn University have found another way to compete and to benefit the Salvation Army simultaneously.
The Associated Student Government at ESU is accepting canned food and non-perishable food items for the “Can the ‘Bods” project. Donations may be brought to the Center for Student Involvement office in the Memorial Union until 3 p.m. Friday.
Donations will be measured by weight, not quantity.
Washburn is holding its own food drive in Topeka. The winner of the contest will be announced during halftime of the ESU-Washburn game on Saturday. The game, which is part of homecoming activities for Washburn, will be held in Topeka.
All food donated will be given to the Salvation Army.
