Candidates for lieutenant governor will take part in a debate at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Albert Taylor Hall at Emporia State University.
The debate, which is the only one scheduled for Kansas lieutenant governor candidates, has been organized by Courtney George, legislative director for ESU’s Associated Student Government.
After the debate, the public will be able to meet informally with the candidates, Republican Susan Wagle and Democrat Mark Parkinson, at a reception in the Memorial Union on campus.
The debate will be streamed live on the Internet, with Windows Media Player required to view it.
