Building Trades Board
The Building Trades Board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight in the City Conference Room at the Civic Building. The board will consider amending the building and construction regulations, which requires applicants to provide proof of experience prior to being eligible to take the State of Kansas recognized examinations for journeyman and master plumbers, journeyman and master mechanical installers and journeyman and mast electricians.
Emporia Board of Education
Emporia USD 253 board of education will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mary Herbert Education Center in Emporia. Items on the agenda include:
- Consider approval of van purchase for technology department.
- Consider approval of recommended modifications to Emporia High School projects.
- Board reports from the Flint Hills Technical College board of trustees; Emporia Recreation Commission; Head Start.
