No more pumpkins

THE MEMBERS of First United Methodist Church of Emporia would like to thank everyone who supported our youth the past 12 years by purchasing pumpkins from our Pumpkin Patch. The proceeds from this project have allowed our youth to experience mission trips, spiritual growth activities and fun. All of these are helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow, so again we say a big “Thanks.”
Over the years, we enjoyed serving many of you with our “Story Times,” carnivals and other activities in the Patch. We will miss being a part of your fall routine.
Although this was a great project for us for many years, we feel it has run its course and it is time to move onto something else. We greatly appreciate your support and invite you to visit us at our fireworks stand on South Prairie Street next summer.
