FHTC getting things into focus

Planning for the 8th annual FOCUS is well underway. FOCUS 2006 is scheduled for Nov. 13-Nov.14.
FOCUS is an opportunity for high school students, high school counselors and adult students to learn about the variety of options available at FHTC. During the event, prospective students are able to visit two program areas of interest and receive program demonstrations. Students also receive lunch, a FOCUS T-shirt, information about their program areas of interest and prizes.
Prospective students are able to learn more about the programs offered at FHTC including automotive technology; commercial art, computer program design and development; construction technology; dental assisting; graphic arts technology; health occupations technology; hospitality-culinary arts; industrial maintenance technology; manufacturing technology (machine tooling); network technology; office professional; paramedic; power plant technology and practical nursing.
Daytime FOCUS sessions will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 13-14. An evening FOCUS session will also be held from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. on November 14. Persons interested in attending FOCUS 2005 should contact the college at 343-4600 or 800-711-6947.
