Kenneth Garrett of Burlington knows how to get to the Kansas Lottery headquarters in Topeka. Garrett has been there five times this year to claim prizes, according to a Lottery news release.
Garrett won $9,402 on Tuesday when he played a 7-Spot Keno game for three consecutive draws at $2 each. The win came less than two months after two other major wins.
“I won $3,887 in August and 10 days later I won another $2,187,” Garrett said in the release. “I guess the third time’s the charm.”
Keno is Garrett’s favorite game and he plays it several times a week. He usually plays 5-Spot “but I like to mix it up some, so I’ll try a 7-Spot or 8-Spot,” he said.
He purchased the latest winning ticket at American Legion post 38 in Burlington.
