Nobody was hurt after two semis collided on U.S. Highway 50 and Road B2 early this morning.
Lyon County Sheriff Gary Eichorn said the accident had been turned over to the Kansas Highway Patrol, but that one truck driver lost control and rolled his truck on the highway. The second truck driver didn’t see the rollover and drove on top of the first truck.
“One guy got a bloody nose out of it,” Eichorn said. “Luckily, nobody had to be transported.”
Lt. John Eichkorn of the Kansas Highway Patrol said that no names were available at the time of this report. The accident occurred around 3 a.m.
“From what we understand, it involved two semi-trucks,” Eichkorn said. “The road was completely blocked until about 8:39 this morning.”
