An unidentified vandal shot out several car windows with a BB gun early this morning.
According to Emporia Police Department records, there were 18 reports of criminal damage to property this morning. Most of those, police said, appeared to be the result of someone driving around and “plinking” car windows.
Most of the vandalism reports came from either the 800 block of Market Street, or from the west side of town in the neighborhood of Wilson, Garfield, Woodland and Sunnyslope streets and on West Eighth Avenue.
