Annual remembrance
The 10th annual Holiday Remembrance program will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls. This is a time to remember people who have died recently or many years ago and is open to anyone who feels this will help them during the holiday season. Becky Edwards will help with the program this year.
A presentation will give suggestions that have helped others cope with grief at the holidays. It will be followed by a candle-lighting ceremony and a time to place ornaments on the Memory Tree. Participants are welcome to provide ornaments that represent special talents, occupation, hobbies and so forth of the people being remembered and to write names of those people on the ornaments.
