County commission

Lyon County commissioners will meet for a study session at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Lyon County commission chamber of the Lyon County Courthouse. Items up on the agenda include:

• Doug Stueve, Department on Aging director, will give a departmental and Emporia Senior Center update.

• Chip Woods, county engineer, will review haul road agreement between Koss Construction and Lyon County for Road 170 west of Overlander Street and Road G from Road 170 north to Highway 50.

• Robert Sullivan, will bring commissioners a request to use funds for an agency retreat and training workshop in Shawnee.

• Commissioners will discuss gift certificates for county employees.
