Online courses available at FHTC

-The FHTC Business & Industry Center has partnered with two of the top national online education providers for community education.
Over 1,000 courses can now be brought to students through the ed2go and FHTC partnership at www.ed2go.com/fhtc or through the twenty-plus certificate programs through the Gatlin Education and FHTC partnership at www.gatlineducation.com/fhtc. All instructor-facilitated online courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end).
Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. Students can complete any of these courses entirely from their home or office and at any time of the day or night.
A sample of the courses available include:
- Introduction to Microsoft Excel.
- Creating Web Pages.
- Accounting Fundamentals.
- A to Z Grant Writing.
- Medical Terminology.
- Grammar Refresher.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
- Real Estate Investing.
- Introduction to Microsoft Access.
- Project Management Fundamentals
- Computer Skills for the Workplace
- Introduction to Dreamweaver.
A new section of every course in the ed2go catalog will begin on December 13, January 17, February 21, March 21 and April 18.
