Jaime Harper, scholarship coordinator, has joined Emporia State University’s financial aid office.
Harper, an Emporia native, earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems in 2003 from ESU. She formerly worked as a financial aid officer at Flint Hills Technical College.
“I chose ESU because I enjoyed my time here as a student, and looked forward to working with the team in the Financial Aid office,” Harper said.
Her duties are to evaluate applications and determine award recipients for scholarships; prepare reports for the ESU Foundation; determine and record allocations for funds; respond to scholarship questions from students, parents, counselors, donors and departments; and update database tables.
“Jamie is a welcome addition to the Financial Aid Office. Her previous financial aid experience has certainly been beneficial as we work with her on our processes,” said Elaine Henrie, Director of Financial Aid.
