The Emporia Gazette and law enforcement officials are asking for assistance in locating a wanted person. William Rivera is being sought by law enforcement officials on multiple warrants issues for failure to appear on charges of DUI, minor in possession of alcohol and batter on a law enforcement officer.
Rivera is a Hispanic male, 24 years of age, 5’04” tall, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The public should not make any attempt to catch or hold him. Otherwise, call the Emporia Police Department at 343-4200 or the Lyon County Sheriff's Department at 342-5545.
