Hull named to career services post
New career services director appointed

It’s that time of year again when December graduates are searching for careers and May graduates are glimpsing into the future at what may lay ahead. During this time of anxiety and excitement is when students seek June Coleman-Hull and the Office of Career Services.
Coleman-Hull was recently appointed Director of Career Services. Hull has been at Emporia State for two years now previously as the Assistant Director of Career Services.
“I am very excited to continue the goals set forth by Dr. Grover and my predecessor Dr. Susan Dollar,” said Coleman-Hull.
As director, Coleman-Hull works with employers and supervises on-campus recrtuitment, meets with students to discuss job searches and internships, and helps academic departments provide presentations and other career information.
Hull’s said her future goals for career services are to develop a systematic approach to identifying and targeting new employers.
“I plan to continue our strong programs centered on career exploration throughout students’ college experience and to continue to develop online resources to serve distance learners,” she said.
Before joining ESU, Coleman-Hull was the director of Career Services and Associate Dean of Students at Bethany College in Lindsborg. She received her bachelor’s degree in music at the University of Nebraska and her master’s degree in college student personnel at the University of Wisconsin.
