Unsafe structures and a mobile home ordinance are among the topics on the agenda for the city council meeting at Reading. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in City Hall.

COUNCIL GROVE
Phillip Buttrey of Council Grove and Sarah Jones of Strong city have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Baker University’s College of arts and Sciences.
They maintained a minimum 3.5 or higher grade-point average throughout the semester.
The Morris County Health Department will receive a $13,462 grant from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The grant will allow them to participate in a Public Health Preparedness and Response Program that recently was approved by the Morris County Commissioners.
