Donta Watson had 21 points for ESU. DeAndre Townsend added 16.

ESU coach David Moe benched all his starters to start the second half. The Hornets were outscored 11-5 before the starters returned at the 17:11 mark.

Friends took a 49-47 lead on a Justin Rone four-point play, but ESU responded with a 9-0 run to take a 58-51 advantage.
