Emporia Gazette
The Emporia Gazette Christmas Party was held Dec. 10, 2006, at the Emporia Country Club. A prime-rib dinner was served after the social half hour. Accompanying the entree were salads, green beans and new potatoes, dinner rolls and apple pie with ice cream. Wine was served with the meal.
Hosts were Christopher and Ashley Walker. Larry and Candy Hodge
Larry and Candy Hodge entertained guests at a Christmas party December 9, in their home at 2626 Hickory Lane. The main table was covered with a metallic red cloth and held centerpiece of red poinsettias in a gold stand bordered by two gold candelabra holding green tapers. A variety of hot and cold food items and drinks were enjoyed.
