Osage County and Lyon County health departments to form task force

The Osage County Health Department and Flint Hills Community Health Center will form a task force to see if the two entities can work together to provide health care services.
FHCHC already has a satellite clinic in at Osage County Health Department. The satellite clinic at the Osage County Health Department opened on Nov. 21, said Lougene Marsh, executive director of FHCHC. Lynn Bridge and Heather McCullough, advanced registered nurse practitioners, will alternate staffing the clinic each Tuesday.
Marsh said the Osage County commissioners Monday appointed members to the joint task force that will be convening with Lyon County members. The goal is to provide management for Osage County Health Department.
“What we’re talking about with this task for is if there is a way for the two entities to work together,” Marsh said.
