Students, educators and community members gathered at Emporia High School Thursday morning to show their support for education.

The walk-in for education focused on the importance of adequately funding education. Students created signs for the event expressing their opinions. Some of the signs read:

“We love our teachers.”

“We deserve an education.”

“We love our school.”

“Quality education.”

Following an enthusiastic performance by the EHS band and passionate speeches, the group followed Principal Britton Hart on a walk around the school building.
