BURLINGAME — Hartford senior Dalen Kistner and freshman Brianna Sapp led the Hartford track and field teams at the Burlingame Invitational Monday.
Kistner threw 40-0 in the shot put and 110-08.50 in the discus, good for the runner-up finishes in both.
Alan Blankley was second in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 12:51.09. Ben Westhoff took third, recording a time of 14:14.75.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Devon Smith, Blankley, AJ Navarro and Kistner ran a 4:22.57, good for second.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Trace Torrens, Westhoff, Navarro and Blankley finished third.
Tyler Stuck placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 84-00.
Smith sprinted to a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash, recording a time of 28.18.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Torrens, Blankley, Kistner and Smith ran a 56.14, good for sixth.
Sapp earned a pair of top-four finishes in the throwing events on the girls side. She finished second in the discus (89-11) and fourth in the shot put (29-02).
Kira Westhoff took second in the 400-meter dash, recording a time of 1:10.47.
The quartet of Sapp, Westhoff, Halee Heathman and Bailey Darbyshire finished third in the 4x800 and 4x100 relays, with times of 12:43.65 and 1:01.39.
The 4x400m relay team of Westhoff, Heathman, Darbyshire and Shelbi Metcalfe took third with a time of 4:59.82.
Darbyshire ran a 2:59.50 in the 800m, good for third. She also finished sixth in the high jump, clearing 4-06.
Metcalfe placed third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.03.
