The Madison boys basketball team and the Kansas Hornets girls basketball team claimed MAYB Tournament Championships in the high school division Sunday at Emporia High School.

Madison defeated the RedHawks, 44-30, while the Kansas Hornets claimed their championship with a 37-20 victory over Khaos.

The Emporia High boys basketball team finished third in the 11-12 boys division. Wheat State Elite’s high school team placed fifth in the high school girls division.

In the 9-10 boys division, the Kansas Classics won their division. Kansas Triple Threat Logan was third, defeating Emporia Black and Madison JV took fifth.

Emporia Gutierrez won the 7-8 girls division and Emporia Gutierrez Black finished third.

Ballerz 2023 claimed the tournament championship in the 7-8 boys division. Kansas Triple Threat Barrett was third, while Emporia 8th and 7th graders finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

Kansas Defenders-McCray won the 5-6 boys division. Nebraska Heartland 6th took the 5-6 girls division, while Emporia Gutierrez finished fourth.
