Cabin Fever Challenge

Description: Bicycling Event and Community Support for WAM-SAG-MAN Trail project
The 4th annual Cabin Fever Challenge is planned for Saturday, March 29 beginning at the Wamego Middle School, 1701 Kaw Valley Road, Wamego, KS. Participation in the event will support the WAM-SAG-MAN TRAIL Project.

The ride includes three paved routes: 57, 34.5 and 18.5 miles. Check-in starts at 730 am with a mass start at 9 am and 930 am. Registration fees are $20 for the 18.5-mile route and $25 for the 34.5 and 57-mile route. Fees go up $5 after March 13.

The Pottawatomie/Wabaunsee County Safe Kids Chapter will have free bicycle helmets from 8am to 10am or until supplies last. Location is the Wamego Middle School (east entrance). You do not need to be a registered bicyclist for the Cabin Fever event to get a free helmet. Contact Deputy Doug Adams if you have any questions 785-457-3353.
