Jennifer Vilander and Jason Hart were married April 12, 2008, at the Emporia Presbyterian Church West Campus. The Rev. Michael Sorsen officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Lauren Engle. The best man was Glen Cunningham. The bride’s other attendant was Jessica Knight. The groomsman was Joshua Hart. The flower girl was Jordin Smith; the ring bearer was Jeremy Hart. Candlelighters were grandmothers of the couple, Lois Vilander and Marilyn Hart. Ushers were Harold Vilander, Karsten Burns, Jacob Hill and Jacob Brotbeck. Mary Melhorn and Patricia Hart were the wedding musicians. The guestbook attendant was Robin Burns. Gift table attendants were Malibu Guitarr and Casey Speer.
The wedding reception and rehearsal dinner were at the Presbyterian West Campus. Malibu Guitarr was the gift attendant.
The bride is a nanny for Patrick and Sarah Hodgson.
The bridegroom serves with the U.S. Army.
She is the daughter of Richard and Ruth Vilander of Emporia. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Lois Vilander of Wamego.
He is the son of Steven and Diana Hart of Emporia. He is the grandson of Kenneth Presley of Hartford and Harry and Marilyn Hart of Emporia.
