Wedding: Alderfer and Maley

Ashley L. Alderfer and Scott Maley were married June 22, 2007, at Northridge Church in Sabetha. The Rev. Charles Robinson officiated at the ceremony.
The maid of honor was Ashley McClain. The best man was Matthew Hanschu. The bride’s other attendants were Jessica Alderfer, Tyanna Alderfer and Sara Olson. The groomsmen were Todd Kitchens, Matthew Long and Nathan Olson. The flower girl was Kinleigh Rhodd; the ring bearer was George Perkins. Readers were Teresa Maley, mother of the bridegroom and Catherine Slifer, aunt of the bride.
The wedding reception was at the Fairview Community Building in Fairview. The rehearsal dinner was the Buzz Café in Sabetha.
The couple took a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon, and live in Overland Park.
The bride graduated from Sabetha High School and from Washburn University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is a student at the UMKC School of Dentistry.
The bridegroom graduated from Emporia High School and Washburn University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. He attends the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
She is the daughter of Kenneth and Cindy Alderfer of Sabetha. She is the granddaughter of Duane and Sue Dick of Axtell and Ruth Painter of Sabetha.
He is the son of Doug and Teresa Maley of Emporia. He is the grandson of Pete and Nadine Maley of Emporia and Neal and Lois Thorne of Weslaco, Texas.

Wedding: Green and Edmunds

Jessica Green and Jarrod Edmunds were married Aug. 11, 2007. at the Best Western Hospitality House. The Rev. G.W. Yeager officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Danielle Green, sister of the bride. The best man was Chris Cooper. The bride’s other attendants were Cathy Edmunds, sister of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Ben Green, brother of the bride, Dustin Fields and Seth Wessel. Hailey Line was the flower girl. The guestbook attendant was Rochelle Edmunds, sister of the bridegroom. Cake cutters were Nicole Byrum, Anna Binder, Beth Yeager and Stacy McDonald. Linda Drake was the photographer.
The wedding reception was at the Hospitality House.
The couple live in Broadwater, Neb.
The bride graduated from Chase County High School and the Flint Hills Technical College with a degree in culinary arts. She works at Cabela’s.
The bridegroom graduated from Northern Heights High School and works at Webort Feed Yard.
She is the daughter of W. Merl and Barbara Green of Cottonwood Falls.
He is the son of Randy and Linda Edmunds of Allen.
Grandparents are Walter and Anna Marie Green and Gene and Patty Peacock of Cottonwood Falls, Billy and Joan Burton and Arlene Hopper of Emporia and Lester and Betty Edwards of Council Grove.

Engagement: Price and Landgren

Jim and Rhonda Price of Bethany, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Price, to Laren Landgren, son of Larry and Karen Landgren of Council Grove.
Elizabeth Price graduated from South Harrison High School in Bethany, Mo., and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and agronomy from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo. She is working on a master’s degree in mental health counseling at Emporia State University.
Laren Landgren graduated from Council Grove High School and received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, social science and business. He works as a business representative for Freightquote.com in Olathe.
The couple plan to marry in 2008 in Bethany.

Engagement: Euler and Nelson

Everett “Pete” and Leslee Euler and Kim and Sherry Nelson, all of Emporia, announce the engagement of their children, Katee Euler and Brian Nelson.
Euler graduated from Emporia State University Newman Division of Nursing with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.
Nelson graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. He is an agent with Shelter Insurance in Manhattan.
The couple plan to marry Nov. 24, 2007, at the First Christian Church.
