Engagement: Borst and Breault

Jayme Leigh Borst and Zachary Andrew Breault, together with their families, announce their engagement.
Borst graduated from Emporia High School and Kansas State University with a degree in elementary education. She is a teacher at Holy Rosary Wea Catholic School in Bucyrus.
Breault graduated from Wamego High School and Kansas State University with a degree in business. He works at Barts Electric in Kansas City.
She is the daughter of Rob and Linda Borst of Emporia.
He is the son of Scott and Joanne Breault of Wamego.
The couple plan to marry Sept. 29, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Wedding: Medrano and Ranger

Michele Medrano and Freddie Ranger were married June 9, 2007, at Botanica, The Wichita Gardens. The Rev. Stephanie Brown officiated at the evening ceremony.
The maid of honor was Kristin Bosiljevac. The best man was Mike Ranger. The bride’s other attendants were Jessica Kirk, Jocelyn Schoen, Leticia Sanchez and Sherrie Gross. The groomsmen were George Ranger, Jesse Ranger, Garrett Gross and Chad Gross. Taylor Richeson was flower girl; Maguire Bailey was the ring bearer. Candlelighters were Jacqueline Newbold and Dani Ranger. Ushers were Tyler Bosiljevac and Corbin Bosiljevac. Stacey Loveland was the guestbook attendant.
The wedding reception was at Botanica. Ayrynne Blackley was the gift attendant.
The couple live in Derby.
The bride graduated from Emporia High School and Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in health promotion. She attends Pratt Community College where she is studying to be a registered nurse.
The bridegroom graduated from Mulvane High School and works at Spirit at Derby.
She is the daughter of Van and B-Kay Medrano-Johnson of Emporia.
He is the son of Fred and Teri Ranger of Derby and the late Donna Ranger.
The grandmothers are Patsy Black of Wichita and Mary Ranger of Winfield.

Wedding: Nienstedt and Schultz

Heather Nienstedt and Brett Schultz were married June 29, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olpe. The Rev. Tim Haberkorn officiated at the evening ceremony.
The maid of honor was Ashley Nienstedt, sister of the bride. The best man was John Mercer. The bride’s other attendants were Crystal Howard and Jennifer McDaniel. The groomsmen were Tim Schultz and Justin Schultz. Grace Markowitz was the flower girl.
Candlelighters were Bradi Schultz, sister of the bridegroom, and Erica Mahan. Ushers were Justin Mahan, Michael Mahan, Tony Powell and Bradley Powell. The wedding musicians were Diana Kuhlmann and Lisa Brinkman. Readers were Greg Markowitz and Joan Markowitz. Jessica and Samantha Trautman were the guestbook attendants.
The wedding reception was at the Hartford Community Center. The rehearsal dinner was at the Markowitz farm in Olpe.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, and live in Emporia.
The bride graduated from Hartford High School and Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a kindergarten teacher at Walnut Elementary School.
The bridegroom graduated from Emporia High School and works at Menu Foods Midwest.
She is the daughter of William and Melody Nienstedt of Hartford. He is the son of Kathy Schultz of Emporia and Bob Markowitz of Troy, Ohio.
Grandparents are Mary Lou Mahan of Hartford, Byron and Lenora Nienstedt of Haven, Dorothy Schultz of Emporia, and John and Joan Markowitz of Olpe.

Engagement: Mushock and Crosswhite

Keith and Ellen Mushock of Emporia announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Mushock, to Darrell Crosswhite Jr., son of LouRay McLain and Darrell Crosswhite, both of Topeka.
Mushock graduated from Emporia High School and is a part-time student at Allen County Community College. She is the manager of Annie’s Place in Topeka.
Crosswhite graduated from Silver Lake High School and is a truck loader at US Food Service in Topeka.
The couple plan to marry Oct. 13, 2007, at the Vinewood in Topeka.
