50 Years
Leonard and Elvira Wagner of Emporia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Lee Beran Recreation Center, 313 W. Fourth Ave.
Hosts will be their children, David and Rhonda Reynolds and Rod and Brenda Wagner of Topeka, Greg and Kimberle Wagner of Kansas City, Kan., and Bill and Janu Cress of Greenwood, Mo. Their grandchildren are Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reynolds, Rawlyn Reynolds, Lauren Wagner, Riley Wagner, Kaleb Wagner, Jeneca Cress and Nolan Cress.
Elvira Spealman and Leonard Wagner were married Sept. 21, 1957, at the Church of God of Prophecy, 102 Neosho St., in Emporia.
Elvira Wagner has always been a homemaker and faithfully served as a pastor’s wife for many years.
Leonard Wagner has served as a pastor in Nebraska and Missouri and has served the Church of God of Prophecy since 1969. He is a graduate of International Seminary. He also was in the real estate business for 26 years, with most of that time with Ek Real Estate in Emporia.
